Helpful Hint

Condiments in the Fridge
- (How long has this been in the Fridge?) Keep a permanent marker near your fridge to date open bottles of salsa and sauces.  At a fridge temp of 40 degrees, you can store opened salsa for about 1 month, store-bought salad dressings for 3 months and ketchup for up to 6 months.  For more storage timetables see
Food Shelf Life and Storage.
