CROCK POT MEALS
Q. What
is the difference between a crock pot and slow cooker?
A. A Crock-Pot is a slow cooker. But a slow cooker is not necessarily a Crock-Pot.
They are one in the same, although there are many
shapes and sizes of slow cookers available. The term slow cooker is the generic product name for a stand-alone appliance
with a heating element & ceramic casserole dish that cooks foods with slow, moist heat. Crock-Pot® (with hyphenation,
capitalization, & trademark) is the brand name of a line of slow cookers sold under the Rival® brand name.
